Ownership
Creators keep ownership of their original contributions. By submitting material, a contributor gives Me Man Ghana (My Country Ghana) the non-exclusive licence described in the Terms of Use so we can review, edit, publish, display, archive and promote it as part of the platform.
Before uploading media
- Upload only material you created, that is in the public domain, or that you are authorised to use.
- Name the creator, performer, source, licence and any required attribution.
- Obtain permission from identifiable people where appropriate and never upload exploitative images of children.
- Tell the editorial team about cultural restrictions, sacred material or limits on reuse.
Reporting an infringement
Email legal@memanghana.com with:
- Your name and reliable contact details.
- A description of the protected work and your relationship to the rights holder.
- The exact Me Man Ghana (My Country Ghana) URL and the material you want reviewed.
- Why you believe the use is unauthorised, plus supporting evidence.
- A good-faith statement that the information supplied is accurate.
What happens next
We may temporarily restrict disputed material while reviewing the notice, contact the contributor for evidence, correct attribution, remove the material or restore it where the complaint is not supported. We will retain only the information necessary to handle and document the dispute.
Cultural concerns beyond copyright
A community may have a legitimate concern even when conventional copyright does not apply. Please use the same reporting address for sacred, private, misattributed or culturally sensitive material and explain the relationship to the relevant community.
