Why we exist
Culture lives in the stories we tell, the words we speak, the food we share and the traditions we pass on. Me Man Ghana brings cultural storytelling and language learning together to make that heritage easier to explore and share.
Our purpose is to help people discover Ghana, build a connection with its cultures and take part in preserving knowledge for future generations.

Ghana's cultures are diverse. Stories, language and customs can differ between regions, communities and families. We welcome those differences and the lived experience that helps explain them.
We ask contributors to provide sources for historical claims, credit creators and communities, and share only material they have permission to publish. Contributions enter a private editorial review queue before publication.
This is an ongoing learning project. If something needs correcting or more context, you can suggest an update through our contribution form. Read our community guidelines for more about contributions and review.
Who's behind this
Me Man Ghana is an independent, community-built project rather than a large institution. It started from wanting Ghanaian history, language and culture to have an accessible home online — one that's easy to explore and shaped by the people who know it best.
The platform is maintained by a small team, and grows through the knowledge, corrections and stories contributors share. For partnerships, press or general enquiries, email legal@memanghana.com.
